The Roaring Twenties!
Did the 1920s really roar?

Task

You're Invited!

Please attend a dinner party in honor of the Roaring Twenties

at the home of A'lelia Walker on Thursday, January 28.

Come prepared to get to know your fellow dinner guests

and dress in a way that represents the "true" you.

After-dinner entertainment will be provided by you, our talented guests.

In this LibraryQuest, you will familiarize yourself with some of the major personalities of the decade and choose one who really interests you to research more fully. You will write a one page essay about your personality, which will be evaluated using this rubric.

Then, you will attend a dinner party as this historical figure. At the dinner party, you will participate in a discussion of the decade, specifically the question "Did the 1920s really roar?" During the after-dinner entertainment, you will have the opportunity to share the special gifts or talents your historical figure possessed.

Your portrayal of your character and your knowledge will be evaluated using this rubric.
